During COVID, I was exploring the idea of collective consciousness—what, how, and where people could gather, and what it might look like if we directed our energy toward the same goal: helping each other and our planet. I created a zine to communicate and explore this idea, just barely scratching the surface. Fast forward to today, and I’ve read a range of different books, such as The Compassionate Mind by Paul Gilbert, Morphic Resonance: The Nature of Formative Causation by Rupert Sheldrake, Humankind: A Hopeful History by Rutger Bregman, and many more, which have helped unpack this inquiry further and allowed me to realise that this initial idea needs to be reworked. At some point, I plan to revisit and recreate this zine, incorporating all that I’ve learned since.
